Contract Award and Preliminary Schedule Information
The City of Portland has succesfully bid this project and awarded a construction contract to Chase Excavating for a total contract price of 6.26 Million Dollars. A project kickoff meeting was held at DPW offices on 1/21/2026 with the Contractor and City project team.
The contractor has provided the following preliminary information regarding the project schedule:
**Mobilization — **July 2026
Construct Fish Pier Drainage (Phase 1) — July 2026 to September 2026
Pave & Turnover Fish Pier Parking Lot — October 2026
Commercial Street Drainage (Phase 2) — October 2026 to May 2027
Pave Commercial Street & Surface Fish Pier — May 2027
Mill & Overlay Commercial Street Trenches — May 2028
