City of Portland, Maine
Crossing at Deering Ave

2025 CDBG Sidewalk Projects

Project Scope
The City of Portland is prioritizing safe, accessible, and equitable infrastructure improvements that benefit everyone in our community. Currently these segments of city streets do not have any safe pedestrian infrastructure installed that complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or City technical standards. This project will install both in accordance with the City of Portland’s Technical Standards, ADA Regulations and Guidelines, and the City of Portland’s Sidewalk Material Policy. This project will be the next step in creating a more accessible and pedestrian safe network.
The four project location areas are Woodford Street, Sagamore Village, Warwick Street and Longfellow Street.
