
Kiwanis Pool design and engineering team off to the races!
The Kiwanis Pool Replacement Project is moving ahead now that the City has hired a team of designers and engineers to create a final design and see it through to construction.
A Design and Engineering team has been hired to move the pool replacement project forward from the preliminary concept designs shared in January 2022 to more detailed design/engineering, construction documentation and construction (anticipated to begin fall 2024).
Simons Architects and their team of subconsultants have demonstrated a deep experience with civic projects in Portland and extensive experience in municipal aquatics projects across cold climate environments. The design team is made up of:

- Counsilman-Hunsaker - aquatic design
- Aceto LA - landscape architecture
- Gorrill Palmer - civil engineering
- Owen Haskell - surveyor
- Alpha One - ADA compliance
- Allied Engineering - MEP engineering

- Credere Associates - environmental consulting
- RW Gillespie - geotechnical engineering
- PCM Company - cost estimating
