Reimagining Play at Eastern Promenade's "Will's Playground"
BACKGROUND
The City of Portland is planning improvements to Will’s Playground on the Eastern Promenade. This is one of Portland's most heavily used playgrounds and serves children and families from the East End, across Portland and beyond. Its play equipment is more than 20 years old, much of it has undergone numerous repairs and continuing repairs are no longer viable. This project is an opportunity to reimagine this playground and create a welcoming place to play for a wide range of ages and abilities.
Before beginning to design the new playground, the City would like to hear from you. Take the online survey at this link to share your ideas. Come to the upcoming public meeting to learn about the project and help envision the new playground.
