Immigration Legal Aid Clinic

On the second Thursday of every month, the City of Portland's Office of Economic Opportunity hosts a free Virtual Legal Aid Clinic from 12-5 pm, where individuals may sign up for a 1 hour appointment to speak with a Volunteer Immigration Lawyer.

Volunteer lawyers can assist with questions regarding:

Family Based Immigration
Diversity Visa Lottery
Temporary Protected Status
Work Permits
Becoming a US Citizen
Permanent Residency

The Legal Aid Clinic can help with any immigration questions except relating to asylum. If you need help with your asylum case, please visit https://ilapmaine.org/.
