Third round of Electrify Everything! DIY Rebates

Rebates for do-it-yourself weatherization, electrification and efficiency projects.

In March 2024, the Sustainability Office launched a third round of its Electrify Everything! program, "DIY Electrify", offering income-eligible Portland homeowners and renters rebates for up to $250 toward the purchase of select items used in home weatherization, electrification and/or efficiency projects.

Weatherizing and electrifying our existing buildings are some of the most effective tools we have to lower our energy bills and fight climate change, and there are plenty of small, low-cost steps you can take to make a big difference in your home’s energy use. Small investments to tighten up your home, such as caulking around window frames or weather stripping around doors, can help you stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. By using energy more efficiently, you can stay comfortable in your home, reduce your carbon footprint, and lower your utility bills.
