Project substantially complete!

We have reached substantial completion for the Payson Playground. While some punch list items and adjustments remain, the playground has passed safety inspection and is open for enjoyment! We should have construction fencing removed in the next two weeks, and some additional signage, the new entry gate, and tweaks to the toddler spring rocker location will be done later this fall. Spring will be a time for community plantings and our celebratory ribbon cutting! Meanwhile, please come enjoy the new playground challenges and adult agility course equipment while the weather permits! Or take a walk around the new play spaces on our new walking trail loop! We appreciate everyones input, patience, and support while this project has taken place! A big Thank you! to Friends of Payson Park, Seaside Landscaping and Excavation, Maine Recreation and Design, Gametime, Parks Playground Technician team and City of Portland Solid Waste Services! A great team effort and a great new playspace!
