Community Transit Study

The Princeton Community Transit Plan is an effort to assess the mobility needs of the Princeton community and explore strategies to improve transit service in the community. Princeton, New Jersey is served by Princeton Muni (the community bus service), NJ Transit, Tiger Transit (Princeton University), and transit services that support older adults and people with disabilities. The project will develop recommendations for future Municipal transit services and identify opportunities to leverage the other transit services offered in the community.

We would like to thank everyone for taking the survey, which closed on February 17, and for joining the various pop-up events around town aimed at collecting feedback on the potential transit improvements.

Past Pop-up events:

  • Thursday 2/6, 2-4pm at Princeton Public Library (65 Witherspoon St)
  • Thursday 2/6, 4:30-6:30pm at Princeton “Dinky” Station (152 Alexander St)
  • Tuesday 2/11, 12-2:30pm at Palmer Square Kiosk (1 Palmer Square W)
