Nassau Streetscape Improvement Project

The Municipality of Princeton has embarked on a project to revitalize the streetscape and improve the pedestrian experience on the north side of Nassau Street between Chambers Street and Moore Street. Nassau Street is one of Princeton’s primary commercial corridors and a NJ State road that acts as the seam between Princeton University and the Municipality. This initiative began in 2016 with the development of Streetscape Design Guidelines. A concept plan was accepted by Princeton Council in 2023 and final design is underway. Construction is anticipated in 2027.
