The Corporation of the Town of Renfrew has a corporate policy that covers the sale and disposition of surplus land. The following properties have been listed for potential surplus and future sale:
- Subject Lands on Seventh Street, Roll #474800002004100 – shown on the Supporting Documents.
- Subject Land 67 Argyle Street, Roll #474800005515900 - shown on the Supporting Documents.
- Subject Land 436 Lisgar Avenue, Roll #474800007017600 – shown on the Supporting Documents.
The Corporation Town of Renfrew is seeking Expression of Interest (“EOI”) from qualified firms, developers and/or individuals outlining their interests in the development of a parcel of Town owned land:
- Subject Land 210 Ready Avenue, Roll #474800008506300 - proposal # 2023-27 ED - shown on the Supporting Documents.

At the Corporate Services and Economic Development Committee on August 29th, 2023, staff were directed to provide public notice on the potential surplus and future sale of 210 Ready Avenue and the Town owned property on Seventh street.
Surplus Properties Update to the Corporate Services and Economic Development Committee
The Corporate Services and Economic Development Committee is recommending Renfrew Town Council declare the land situated at 210 Ready Avenue (roll # 4748 0000 8506 300 as surplus to the Town’s needs and to proceed to sale through an Expression of Interest process.
The Corporate Services and Economic Development Committee is recommending Renfrew Town Council declare the vacant land situated on Seventh Street (roll # 4748 0000 2004 100) as surplus to the Town’s needs and to proceed to sale through an Expression of Interest process, and give notice to the adjacent property owner terminating the 1975 agreement for use of the land.

The Town of Renfrew is seeking tenders from qualified individuals for the following:

Proposal Number: 2023-27 ED
Closing Date: February 5th, 2024.
