Streetlight Pole Replacement

The Town is responsible for the replacement and maintenance of streetlight poles that are solely utilized for streetlighting, while Hydro One retains responsibility for poles carrying additional utilities. Although Hydro One maintains the poles in those cases, the streetlight fixtures themselves remain the Town's responsibility. Many of the Town owned poles have reached the end of their useful life and require replacement to ensure safety and reliability.
