2025 County Transportation Infrastructure Projects

The County of Renfrew has approved an ambitious Capital Plan for the 2025 construction season to ensure our transportation across the County continues to be safe and efficient.

The Department of Public Works & Engineering is responsible for maintenance, planning, design, and construction activities in support of all of the County's transportation infrastructure. The County's transportation infrastructure includes 814km of arterial roads, 254 road bridges, 238km of recreational trails, and 46 trail bridges. In 2025, the Department plans to complete rehabilitation or reconstruction on approximately 57.2 km of County Roads, 7 County Bridges, 57.2km of recreational trails, and 1 trail bridge. Design is also being undertaken for an additional 19 Bridge Structures for construction in future years.

The County will issue a project update in the first week of each month providing general updates for ongoing projects, as well as projects planned to commence in the coming month, and recently completed projects.
