Fairview Park Design and Construction
Following a public engagement process, feedback through the Recreation and Parks Master Plan and a formal project tendering process, the Town of Arnprior is pleased to be working with Strathmar Construction on the new park features that will be installed at Fairview Park.
Work on this park will commence in August 2024 with an anticipated opening in June 2025. The park will include the following features:
- Splash Pad (13 features)
- Parkour Circuit (9 features)
- Swingset (1 Accessible Swing, 1 Toddler Swing, 2 Belt Swings)
- Pre-School Play Structures (ages 18 months – 5 years, including a slide)
- Play Berm
- Waste/Recycling Receptacles
- Benches
- Trees

Important Dates
Fairview Park Design Open House
The Town held a public open house on March 5th, 2024 to receive public feedback on the potential design options for the Fairview Park project.
Council Awards Construction Project
At the June 24th, 2024 Regular Meeting of Council, the Town awarded the contract for construction of the new Fairview Park to Strathmar Trenching Limited.
Projected Park Completion
We currently expect that the new Fairview Park will be open to the public in June 2025.
