Recreation & Parks Master Plan
For the past 16 months, Town of Arnprior staff have works with Stantec Consulting Ltd. to complete a new Recreation and Parks Master Plan for the Town of Arnprior. This plan plays a pivotal role in setting the next course for the delivery of the recreational services in the Town over the next 10 years. The RPMP for the Town of Arnprior provides a cohesive vision and strategy for the provision of parks and recreational services for the community that includes facilities and programming, trails and parks, and assesses management and staffing strategies.
Over those 16 months, the consultants met and worked alongside town staff, Council and engaged with user groups and the public through virtual and in-person open houses and surveys to capture the wants, needs and ideas of the community to support a collective vision for the future of Arnprior recreation and parks amenities and services.
Council received the final draft of the Recreation and Parks Master Plan on July 8, 2024. Following feedback over the summer, staff will return to Council on September 23, 2024 to have this master plan approved.
