Strategic Plan 2023 to 2025

On January 16th, 2023 members of County Council gathered with the senior leadership team on a session facilitated by Erik Lockhart from the Queen’s University.

The purpose of the session was to review the vision for the County of Renfrew, agree on strategic priorities for the next term of Council, and identify some objectives for the next four years. The group conducted an environmental scan by looking at trends, opportunities and threats. Based on this, six priorities were agreed upon, and Goals and Objectives were created for each priority.

These priorities were identified as:

  • Financial sustainability
  • Workforce Development
  • Community wellness & health care
  • Shared services & resources
  • Attainable Housing & related infrastructure
  • Environmental resiliency
