Town of Renfrew Master Servicing Plan
The Town of Renfrew (Town) is seeking to better understand its existing potable water, stormwater, and wastewater system’s conditions and to assess its ability to service future growth areas. The Town will be updating their Master Servicing Plan (Figure 1) and will involve a comprehensive review and assessment of the Town’s wastewater and stormwater collection and potable water distribution systems. The Master Servicing Plan will review opportunities to optimize the performance of existing infrastructure, while developing a timeline for future expansion requirements to meet anticipated growth needs.
The study is being undertaken in accordance with Approach #1 of the Master Planning Process, as outlined in Section A.2.7.1. of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) document (2023). As such the Master Servicing Plan will address Phases 1 and 2 of the MCEA process and would therefore become the basis for, and be used in support of, future investigations for the specific Schedule B and C projects identified within it.
