2026 Road Rehabilitation Projects

Deep River is committed to enhancing the safety, accessibility, and longevity of our local infrastructure. In alignment with this commitment, the Town has approved a $1.2 million budget for important road rehabilitation projects scheduled for 2026. These upgrades will focus on improving Banting Road (from the highway to McEligott Drive), Huron Street (from Rutherford Avenue to Ridge Road), Alder Crescent (from Ridge Road to Laurier Avenue), and Glendale Avenue (Algonquin Street to Hillcrest Avenue).

All road rehabilitation work will be completed using a mill and pave process, which involves removing the top layer of existing asphalt and replacing it with new pavement to restore the roadway surface and extend its lifespan.
