About

The Rural Municipality of Springfield is committed to securing and providing a sustainable water supply for the Dugald and Oakbank region and is currently in the planning stages for the implementation of the new Dugald Oakbank Water System (DOWS) water treatment plant and supply. This endeavor seeks to secure our community's future water needs, while integrating cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices, thereby fostering a healthy and safe environment for all residents.

This constraint has become an impediment to progress, hindering the development of new housing projects, local businesses, public amenities, and even posing challenges to our fire department.
