Engagement Ready Roanoke steering committee

The Engagement Ready Roanoke team held a final public listening session Feb. 25 to review what was learned from previous sessions and to facilitate continued conversation about the core values that should guide local public engagement. The findings that were shared are available on this project page, under 'supporting documents.'
Beginning in March 2026, a steering committee — composed equally of eight residents and eight City staff members — will meet twice a month for four months to help draft the City’s first-ever community engagement policy and shape how Roanoke connects with the public.
