Mayor's Hope and Home Task Force
Mayor Cobb formed the Hope and Home Task Force to study the root causes of homelessness in Roanoke and to propose comprehensive, actionable, and measurable long-term solutions. The task force will strengthen community collaboration and develop comprehensive recommendations as it works to expand housing options. This long-term focus will complement the daily outreach and housing efforts already underway with Roanoke's Homeless Assistance Team. The task force members are volunteers representing a wide diversity of experiences and areas of expertise, giving them unique insights into the causes of homelessness in Roanoke.

Mayor Cobb hosted a press conference officially announcing the creation of the Hope and Home Task Force and introducing its members.
First Meeting
The Hope and Home Task Force will meet from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Bella Vista Room at the Berglund Center.
