Vision Zero Roanoke Community Engagement Week Update

A week of community engagement planned for August 5th-9th

Overview:
Community Engagement Week for Vision Zero Roanoke is set for August 5th through the 9th, offering numerous opportunities for community members to get involved and provide feedback on traffic safety. This week includes four Walk Audits across Roanoke, three informal engagement sessions, and Vision Zero information and feedback tables at two National Night Out locations. Your participation and insights are crucial to the success of Vision Zero Roanoke.

Walk Audits:
A walk audit is a site visit, primarily by foot, aimed at identifying safety and access issues, considering potential strategies to address these concerns, and fostering an informed discussion about the feasibility of various solutions. The walk audits are open to the public; however, space is limited and preference will be given to PAC members. If you are interested in participating in a walk audit please contact Rob Issem at robert.issem@roanokeva.gov.
