Washington Park Pool Public Survey Opens
A public survey was conducted during the summer of 2022 (July 25 – September 2) to gather feedback on the renovation of Washington Park Pool. Both online and paper surveys were available, and Department staff were present onsite to assist visitors in completing the survey.
Demolition of Washington Park Pool
Washington Park Pool Community Engagement Meeting
A public meeting was held May 18, 2023 to present the results of the survey as well as information about the relocation of the pool to lower Washington Park.
Ribbon Cutting
The City of Roanoke will be cutting the ribbon on the new Washington Park Pool in lower Washington Park at 3 PM on June 6, 2025. The pool will officially open to the public on June 7, 2025.
