The In-River Park project includes several construction sites along the Roanoke River.
Some project phases are nearly complete, including an ADA-accessible river entry point beneath Memorial Bridge and stairway access just upriver from the Wiley Drive Low Water Bridge.
The cofferdam pictured below is a temporary enclosure that enables construction crews to work from the water. The enclosure will be removed once construction is complete.
Work at the site will continue throughout 2026. This spring look for project page updates and information about potential summer river access impact.
