Mpango Mkuu wa Mtaa
Kupitia ruzuku inayosimamiwa na Main Street America inayofadhiliwa na Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (Unlocking Capital), Jiji la Roanoke lilichaguliwa kama mojawapo ya jumuiya tatu huko Virginia kwa jumuiya kuu ya Virginia.
Njia Kuu ya Mtaa ni njia iliyolengwa, ya kimakusudi ya kufufua na kuimarisha uchumi wa kituo cha ujirani. Jiji linataka kusaidia hilo lifanyike, na Njia Kuu ya Mtaa ni mojawapo ya zana nyingi ambazo Jiji litatumia kutekeleza vituo vya ujirani vinavyofikiriwa katika Mpango wa Vituo vya Ujirani.
