First Input Session at the Sanford Farmers’ Market

On July 12, 2025, the Sanford/Lee County Planning Department and the Central Pines Regional Council hosted the first public input session for the Safe Streets for All Action Plan at the Sanford Farmers’ Market.

Staff answered questions and guided residents and visitors through the brief, interactive survey. Participants shared feedback to help improve road safety and reduce serious injuries and traffic-related fatalities in our community.

If you couldn’t make it to the market, you can still get involved. A short online survey is available for anyone who lives, works, or travels in Lee County, the City of Sanford, or the Town of Broadway.
