Buzzline Microtransit Service Ribbon Cutting

The City of Sanford and Lee County held a ribbon cutting for Buzzline on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Sanford Municipal Center.

The program included remarks from:

• David Rhew, Director, NC Public Transportation Association
• Brennon Fuqua, Director, NCDOT Integrated Mobility Division
• Lisa Mathis, Vice Chair, NC Board of Transportation, Division 8
• Kirk Smith, Chair, Lee County Board of Commissioners
• Rebecca Salmon, Mayor, City of Sanford

Following the ribbon cutting, attendees were able to take test rides in the Buzzline fleet of minivans.
