TriRiver Water crews are replacing approximately 5,500 linear feet of sewer line in Sanford.
The sewer lines being replaced run northwest from Alcott Street to Chisholm Street.
Crews will replace existing 12-inch sewer line with new 18-inch sewer line.
These new lines will improve efficiency and allow for more capacity flowing through the area.
COST
The entire project is estimated to cost around $6.4 million. TriRiver Water obtained more than $3.8M in low-interest loans from the state to help reduce the cost burden to customers.
