Open House

The City of Sheboygan hosted a public open house for the proposed Sheboygan Movable Pedestrian Bridge on June 10, 2026. The proposed bridge would span the Sheboygan River, connecting Virginia Avenue with South Pier Drive for pedestrians and bicyclists, providing better access to the Sheboygan River waterfront and Lake Michigan.

This project is the result of a Federal RAISE grant awarded to the City. The purpose of this open house is to share the preferred bridge alternative, answer public questions, and collect feedback on the project. Members of the project team will be at the Open House to provide information and answer questions.
