Main construction activity and items to watch for

Terra-Turner Waterline Replacement Project

The Contractor will have two crews as shown on the map below. The intersection of Riverside and Sheridan Ave. is currently closed but should be opened mid-week and Terra/Turner will be closed to through traffic.

Crews may also be working on the shoulder of the road on Terra and Sheridan Ave. excavating services in preparation for connecting to a temporary water system.

Businesses with restricted access for the week:

Single Lane Access to be provided through closed area for:

Easter Seals from Coffeen/Riverside/Terra initially, may switch to Avoca/Sherdan/Turner later in the week.

Apartments at 577 Turner Lane, one lane from Coffeen/Riverside/Terra initially, may switch from Avoca/Sherdan/Turner later in the week.

Access restricted from one direction:

  • Pure Energy Fitness and businesses on Riverside and Terra Ave. will need to access from Coffeen Ave.
  • Water Products & Solutions and businesses south of Riverside on Sheridan Ave. will need to access from Brundage Lane initially but as the moving closure moves south, then some businesses will need to come in from the north via Riverside or Sheridan Avenue.
  • SWCA and business north of Riverside on Sheridan Ave. will need to access from Avoca, may be able to access from Riverside also later in the week.
  • Bosley Management will need to access from Avoca.

Businesses that may experience a water shutoff – to be coordinated with separate notice.
