Update for the Week of April 8th

This is the weekly update on the construction progress of the Terra-Turner Waterline Replacement Project for the week of April 8th.

Main construction activity and items to watch for:

• Excavating and waterline installation on Sheridan Avenue moving south.
• Excavating and waterline installation on Terra Ave moving south.
• Assembling temporary water system on Terra Ave.

Planned location of construction and road closures for week of 4/8:

• The Contractor will continue with two crews as shown on the map below. S. Sheridan Ave. and Terra/Turner will remain closed to through traffic.
• Crews may also be working on the shoulder of the road on Terra Ave. excavating services in preparation for connecting to a temporary water system.

Businesses with restricted access for the week:

Single Lane Access to be provided through closed area for:

• Clemens Exterior from Sheridan Ave/Turner.
• Sheridan Self Storage and WWC Engineering from Coffeen/Riverside switching to Sheridan/Turner.
• Sheridan Floor to Ceiling and Creekside Apartments from the north on S. Sheridan Ave.
• Dan’s Fish and Sheridan Head Start from the south on S. Sheridan Ave. switching from the north mid-week.
• Golden Dragon off of Brundage Lane, switching from the north on S. Sheridan Ave. later in the week.

Businesses that may experience a water shutoff – to be coordinated with separate notice.

Businesses south of Clemens Exterior on Terra Ave.

Other items of note to watch for:

Please try to limit parking on the streets.

Watch for the temporary water system when driving.
