Scottsdale's ADA Transition Plan update is underway!
Connecting with the community and preparing for comprehensive citywide data collection
Scottsdale's Self Assessment and ADA Transition Plan update officially launched in April 2025 with a public open house and kickoff meeting at the Granite Reef Senior Center. Several dozen members of the public attended where they learned more about the effort and started to provide feedback.
The project team - city staff along with partners at Matrix Design Group and Direct Access - gathered that feedback and are finalizing the city's digital map database that will be used for collecting data citywide.
Community ADA Advocates are being recruited as well. These key volunteers will assist in connecting with people throughout our community to expand the number of voices being heard throughout this critical process. Check the link on the project page for more information.
