Rotary Park Playground Replacement

The City of Scottsdale is excited to announce plans for a full-scale revitalization of the playground at Rotary Park, designed to create a more inclusive, safe, and comfortable space for the entire community. The updated playground will feature multiple wheelchair-accessible play elements, ensuring children of all abilities have equitable opportunities to explore and enjoy the space. Based on strong community feedback gathered during the Parks and Recreation Master Plan process, new shade structures have been identified as a top priority and will be incorporated to help address Arizona’s warm climate.

The revitalization will also include state-of-the-art pour-in-place safety surfacing, providing a secure and accessible environment for year-round recreation. Together, these improvements support family-friendly gathering, encourage community connection, and reflect the City’s commitment to accessibility, safety, and resident-driven planning—while preserving the spirit and character of Rotary Park.
