Adventist Health Arena Food Hall & Public Market
Welcome to a fresh and innovative endeavor spearheaded by the City of Stockton’s Parking Authority and the Economic Development Department. This venture pertains to the potential transformation of 15,000 SF vacant commercial space on the ground level of the Adventist Health Arena Garage, situated on one of the busiest arteries of our city - 310 W. Fremont Street. With nearly 600 parking spaces and an audience of over half a million arena and ballpark annual visitors, this location offers a unique opportunity for a food hall and/or public market that would accommodate and promote local food businesses and entrepreneurs.
To enliven this space, the City of Stockton, with support from the U.S. Small Business Administration grant, aims to bolster economic development through entrepreneurship. Recognising the need to assist local food entrepreneurs in their journey of beginning and expanding their businesses, the Adventist Health Arena Garage holds very promising prospects. It is envisioned as a platform for these nascent businesses to gain audience exposure and scale, complementing the activities at the nearby venues. As part of this initiative, we are keen on gathering public input to assess the community's interest and appetite for such a venture on the first floor of the Arena Garage. Your insights and ideas are crucial to developing a vibrant community-driven food hall that reflects the unique character and diversity of Stockton.
