Statutory Notice: Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

This is the formal legal stage of the process and involves publishing a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) Notice, during which objections or representations may be made.

Proposal

Surrey County Council propose to introduce physical measures to improve safety and reduce vehicle speeds in Mytchett Lake Road, Mytchett.

Between Jan 2020 and Nov 2025, there have been three accidents/collisions, of which two resulted in serious injury. There was a total of five casualties (two serious).

When approaching the junction in Mytchett Lake Road, the existing layout gives the impression that the road continues into Grove Farm Mobile Home Park.

The give way signs are being upgraded, and direction signs are being installed. A full width road table is being proposed to be installation in Mytchett Lake Road, to slow vehicles on the approach to the junction.

This survey opens on 5th August 2026 and closes on 2nd September 2026
