Statutory Notice: Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

This is the formal legal stage of the process and involves publishing a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) Notice, during which objections or representations may be made.

Proposal

It is proposed to implement a series of Active Travel improvement works on the A25/A3100 Boxgrove Roundabout in Guildford; elements of which require TROs.

The proposed improvement works comprise of re-modelling the existing roundabout in order to accommodate the introduction of new facilities that promote active travel modes of transportation (walking/cycling/scooting/etc).

New and improved shared use footways/cycleways are to be introduced around the outside of the re-modelled roundabout, with new raised parallel crossings (that require TROs) introduced across all four arms of the roundabout to provide pedestrians and cyclists with controlled and prioritised crossing facilities.

This survey opens on 10 July 2026 and closes 7 August 2026
