About the project

Have your say on the Basingstoke Canal Centre

Calling all visitors and local residents:

We want to know what you think about the Basingstoke Canal Centre, Mytchett, and any ideas for improvement you might have in the future.

Surrey County Council recognises the Canal Centre as a much-loved community asset and green space, and are eager that the site offers a vibrant, accessible and sustainable space to be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.

To help us better understand how people use the centre and what they value, we are asking the local community and users to take part in a short survey that could influence possible future improvements to the centre and the way it operates.

Share your views by taking the Commonplace survey (link to survey). Alternatively you can pick up a paper copy from the Canal Centre during opening hours.

Even if you don’t use the centre, we would love to hear from you as to your reasons why and what might encourage you to visit in the future.
