Minerals and Waste Local Plan Timetable

A Minerals and Waste Local Plan Timetable has been published by Surrey County Council pursuant to Regulation 5 of The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2026. The timetable sets out the key stages, timescales and public consultations relating to the preparation of the Minerals and Waste Local Plan. The timetable will be kept updated throughout plan-preparation. You can see the Timetable below.

While Surrey County Council is starting to prepare the Minerals and Waste Local Plan, responsibility will transfer to East Surrey Council and West Surrey Council from 1 April 2027.
