A320 North of Woking Improvements

St Ann's Roundabout, Chertsey

We plan to :

  • Widen the carriageway at all approaches and exits in order to provide additional traffic lanes and help minimise queuing, delays and future congestion.
  • Improvements to the roundabout to mark it as two lanes.
  • Provide safe, controlled crossing facilities for pedestrians and cyclists , including provision of new controlled crossing on Chilsey Green Road in the vicinity of Pyrcroft Grange Primary School
  • Provide flood attenuation ponds and swales in order to help reduce and better manage potential future flood risk.
  • Provide improved lighting for all road users.
  • Retain current 30mph speed limit.
