Update on the use of Eclipse Leisure Centre car park as a park and stride

Following a meeting with the Deputy Chief Executive for Spelthorne Borough Council, we have an update as to the use of the Eclipse Leisure Centre car park as a park and stride location.

Spelthorne Borough Council have reaffirmed their position that the Eclipse Leisure Centre car park is not available for parents to use during drop-off and pick-up times and should be for the use of leisure centre visitors only. Surrey County Council officers have suggested that once the Eclipse Leisure Centre car park construction is completed and fully open in the Autumn, it will be possible to assess how full it is.
