Church Road, Bookham - Latest news

Following the completion of the public consultation and having considered the responses both in support and against the proposals to install a 20mph speed limit/traffic calming in Church Road, Bookham it has been decided to continue with the scheme. The scheme will also result in a 20mph speed limit on Church Road, High Street and the existing traffic calmed section of Lower Road. 

 The notice to advertise the intention to install the traffic calming measures and 20mph speed limit will be advertised shortly, with construction work currently programmed to start on 11th May 2026.
