 Following a thorough review of the responses received, it was decided to proceed with the proposals. 

 As required, the scheme was then subject to a statutory consultation to formally advertise the proposed introduction of the 20mph speed limit.  After considering all objections and representations received, the decision was confirmed to move forward with reducing the speed limit.

 The 20mph speed limit has now been introduced and is in force.  However, two vehicle-activated signs remain to be installed in Crawley Ridge.  The posts are already in place, and the power supply has been connected.  Installation of the signs is expected within the next 4–8 weeks.
