Latest News - Frenches Road, Redhill - Proposed 20 MPH scheme

Thank you for your response to our public engagement exercise regarding our proposals for Frenches Road – proposed 20 MPH scheme. We greatly appreciate your involvement and the feedback provided. Following the results of our public engagement exercise which showed a significant level of support for the proposed 20 MPH scheme. We will now continue with the design work and legal process to install the 20 MPH scheme. The legal process will include the advertisement of the proposed 20 MPH scheme on Surrey County Council’s website with further opportunities to support or object to the proposal. Subject to the outcome of the formal advertisement we hope to install in the 2026/27 financial year.
