Phase 1 construction

Following an application to Active Travel England, Surrey County Council has secured funding to deliver a first phase of the Guildford to Godalming Greenway scheme. 

The Phase 1 scope includes the proposed sections listed below:

• Oakdene Road and the A3100/Astolat Way roundabout.
• New Pond Road.
• A3100 between New Pond Road and Catteshall Road.
• Summers Road between New Pond Road and Bourne Road.
• Catteshall Road and Catteshall Lane.
• A new bound path for pedestrians and cyclists through Broadwater Park to connect Farncombe with the main route along the A3100.

We are currently seeking views on the designs of three sections of the scheme: Oakdene Road and the A3100/Astolat Way roundabout; Summers Road; and Catteshall Road and Catteshall Lane. If you would like to view the proposals and comment, please visit the web pages listed below (by 3 August 2025).
