Proposed painted e-bike bays

A consultation has started over the locations of some of the painted e-bike bays around Guildford.

The sites under the current consultation are:

• Outside The Friary - on a wide pavement in North Street 
• Outside Guildford Library - next to the existing cycle parking to the east of the disabled parking bay
• Guildford High Street - at the top of the high street west of the statue of George Abbot 
• Woodbridge Road / Faraday Road - on the south-west corner of the junction outside Golden Gate residential development boundary
• Stoke Road outside Guildford College - near the college entrance, between the bus stop and tree stump
• Woodbridge Hill - on build out at the junction with Manor Road
• Stoughton Road - on the wide pavement by the shops, surgery and bus stop, and behind existing cycle parking
• Park Barn Parade - in front of the shops, between the eastern and the middle planter 
• New Cross Road - on the brick paved area of the pavement
• Worplesdon Road North – by the bus stop in front of 135 Worplesdon Road
• London Road, near Stoke Park - on the pavement at the south-west corner of the junction with Lindfield Gardens 
• Collingwood Crescent shopping parade - on the low walled area of the pavement next to tree and planting 
• Aldershot Road shops - on the island in front of the Co-op
• Queen Elizabeth Park Centre - on the closed road area between Little Street and Railton Road
• Epsom Road, Merrow - in front of Boots
