Update - the Green, Ewhurst

Thank you for your response to our public engagement exercise regarding our proposals for the speed limit reduction scheme along The Green, Ewhurst. We greatly appreciate your involvement and the feedback provided. 

Following a detailed review of all the comments received during the public engagement period, Ewhurst Parish Council along with the County Councillor for Cranleigh and Ewhurst, Mrs Liz Townsend have carefully considered both the support and the concerns raised. We have listened to your feedback and as the engagement findings were not fully in support of the proposed plans the decision has been taken not to progress the scheme. As a result, the proposed speed limit reduction will not progress to the statutory Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) stage.
