Caterham Valley Working Group established

Following the public engagement that ended in early 2026 (a summary of the feedback can be viewed here), we are now collaborating with a working group to review the feedback and try to find a workable solution that meets the original project objectives.  

The working group comprises of specialist designers, local and parish councillor, local residents, representatives from local businesses and the Business Improvement District. Notes from the working group meetings and discussions will be posted online.  

Any proposed new solution that comes as a result of this collaboration will be put forward for public engagement prior to any decision being made.  

The working group is not a decision making group, and any decision about improvements to Station Avenue in Caterham will ultimately be made by East Surrey Council, following public engagement.
