About the project

Email

As part of Surrey's Local Street Improvements (LSI) Programme, a scheme in Chertsey Riverside is being developed. Once the design process is complete, the Council will seek funding to take the scheme through detailed design and construction as and when suitable opportunities become available.

LSIs are schemes intended to make streets within residential communities more appealing for people to spend time in and to make short journeys by walking, wheeling and riding.

We have recently concluded a third round of 'further engagement' with the community in November 2025 where local people shared their views to help shape the final plans for Chertsey Riverside.
