Ewell Village improvements update

Work on the plans for improvements in Ewell Village continue behind the scenes. As a reminder, following extensive consultation and engagement in 2024, residents and stakeholders opted for option 'E'. This option will retain traffic flow along the High Street, improve pavements and public realm space, enhance pedestrian safety, add greenery to the village and introduce a 20mph speed limit.

Full funding was secured for the project at the end of 2024 and the project team are now undertaking detailed design, which includes safety audits and detailed specifications, ahead of construction starting next year. The Surrey County Council project team will provide more updates and a timeline for the work nearer the time or you can keep an eye on the project website for news and information.
