Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views on the proposed traffic calming scheme in Fairmile Lane, Cobham. We greatly appreciate your involvement and the feedback provided.

Following a detailed review of all comments received during the public engagement period, officers have carefully considered both the support expressed and the concerns raised.

What We Heard

The engagement generated a good level of response and reflected a broad range of views.

• Supportive comments highlighted the potential for improved safety, particularly for children, pedestrians and cyclists.

No new issues were identified that had not already been taken into account during the scheme's design. As a result, it is recommended that the scheme is progressed as proposed, with no amendments required.

Next Steps

A draft Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) will now be prepared and advertised for statutory consultation. This formal legal process provides a further opportunity for anyone to submit representations before a final decision is made on whether the traffic calming scheme will be implemented.
