About the Scheme

Surrey County Council is proposing to introduce a 20mph scheme on the roads around George Abbot School, Guildford.

Speed surveys show that traffic calming is not required, and the new limit can be implemented using signs alone. 

The aim of the scheme is to create a safer environment for everyone, particularly children travelling to and from school.
